Nureyev in Berlin

A dossier

Ballet legend Rudolf Nureyev danced on the great stages of the world: in Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, Vienna and Amsterdam. Yet he returned to Berlin again and again. Nureyev loved this city, and Berlin loved him back, on both sides of the Wall.

Ahead of the premiere of our new production Nureyev by Yuri Possokhov and Kirill Serebrennikov, we have put together a special dossier exploring Nureyev’s time in Berlin and his connection to the city.

Discover the story of an extraordinary artist and a fascinating chapter of Berlin’s ballet. Available in German only.
