In the annual critics’ poll by tanz magazine for the 2025/26 season, which included 36 contributors, Staatsballett Berlin was named nine times and honoured as the «Highlight of 2025» together with the Bayerisches Staatsballett. Celebrated were dancers such as Leroy Mokgatle, Jan Casier and Antony Tette, as well as the company’s stage and costume design – and the ensemble as a whole.

In her tribute, Michaela Schlagenwerth writes: «Christian Spuck and the Staatsballett Berlin under his direction seem to be moving from one success and accolade to the next.» And rightly so: «Every production was perfectly chosen – and just as perfectly programmed.»
