Choreographer of the Year
«tanz» magazine honours Marcos Morau
Staatsballett Berlin is delighted to have received two honours in the tanz magazine Yearbook 2025. In the annual critics’ poll for the 2024/25 season, not only was the company named the Highlight of 2025.
Marcos Morau was also once again voted Choreographer of the Year, receiving seven votes. He was first awarded this title in the Yearbook 2023. As Artist in Residence at Staatsballett Berlin, he will present his new creation Wunderkammer on 31 October 2025 at the Komische Oper Berlin @Schillertheater.
We are thrilled to share in this recognition with the choreographer.
