Insights into the new production by Marcos Morau

Shortly before the world premiere of Wunderkammer, Staatsballett Berlin invites you to an exclusive premiere talk in the foyer of KOB@Schillertheater. Together with the creative team and members of the ensemble, the event offers insights into the making of the new dance work by award-winning Artist-in-Residence Marcos Morau, who blends historical cabinets of curiosities, cabaret, and urban club culture into poetic visual worlds. Finally, the question will be explored: what does a moving cabinet of curiosities look like?

The premiere talk provides a unique opportunity to hear about the background, creative processes, and artistic decisions firsthand, and to meet the artists involved before the curtain rises.

Guests include Marcos Morau (choreography), Shay Partush (assistant choreographer), Clara Aguilar (composition), Ben Meerwein (composition & vocals), and demi-soloists Fiona McGee and Anthony Tette from the ensemble. The discussion will be moderated by Artistic Director Christian Spuck and dramaturg Katja Wiegand. Video clips and music will give attendees a first glimpse of the production.

The event will be conducted in German. English segments will be summarized in German.
