Shay Partush

Profile

Shay Partush, born in 1988 in Jerusalem, is a dancer and choreographic assistant to Marcos Morau (La Veronal). After early gymnastics training, he transitioned to dance with the Mechola Folk Dance Company and honed his skills from 2006 to 2011 at KCDC in Ga‘aton, where he performed works by Rami Be‘er. Between 2011 and 2013, Shay collaborated with NND (Noord Nederlands Dans), presenting pieces by Stephen Shrosphire, Roy Asaf, and Itzik Galili. Currently residing in Amsterdam, Shay works as a freelance dancer in Europe, where he also contributes to the development of new pieces. As a dancer, he has worked with choreographers such as Eyal Dadon (SOL Dance Company), Heidi Vierthaler (Hato Projects), Dunja Jocic, Arno Schuitemaker, Anouk van Dijk, Falk Richter, and many others.
