Hulkar Sabirova made her role debut as Leonora di Vargas in Verdi's La forza del destino at the Deutsche Oper Berlin in the 2022/2023 season, where she also regularly performs as Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus. The soprano sang Rosalinde in the winter of 2022/2023 at three of Germany's most important opera houses: in addition to the Deutsche Oper Berlin, at the Semperoper Dresden and the Staatsoper Hamburg, where she also appeared as Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail. Additionally, a staged new production of Verdi's Messa da Requiem at the Theater St. Gallen was on the artist's calendar. In the second half of the 2023/2024 season, she will make her U.S. debut in Verdi's Messa da Requiem with the St. Louis Symphony at the Stifel Theatre, and in the 2024/2025 season, she will debut as Aida in Verdi's Aida at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Highlights in recent years include Hulkar Sabirova's debuts as Hélène in a new production of Les Vêpres siciliennes at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and as Leonora in Il trovatore at the St. Gallen Festival; Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail at the Semperoper Dresden and the Savonlinna Opera Festival; Lucio Cinna in Lucio Silla and Elettra in Idomeneo at the Teatro Real Madrid; at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro as Contessa de Folleville in Il viaggio a Reims; at the Ruhrtriennale, with the RSB, and at the Arena di Verona as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia.

The German soprano was born in Uzbekistan and began her musical education in violin and piano at the age of seven at a state boarding school. She started her career as a Weisweiler Scholarship recipient at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
