Egon Thuile

Egon Thuile (also known as Egon Elliut) is a music producer and sound designer from southern Austria. After studying media communication, he specialised in electronic music production and has since composed for exhibitions, performances, and audiovisual projects. His work spans sound installations, soundtracks, and electronic compositions that move fluidly between genres and cultural references. Drawing inspiration from pop culture, history, architecture, and video games—his original gateway into electronic music—Thuile creates narrative soundscapes. Since 2012, he has been developing sound concepts for international artists, notably in close collaboration with visual artist Claudia Comte. His work as a sound designer has been featured at venues including the Palais de Tokyo, Art Basel, Copenhagen Contemporary, Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid, and the 2024 Met Gala.

Egon Thuile lives and works in Berlin and Klagenfurt.
