Andrei Danilov

The tenor Andrei Danilov has been a member of the ensemble at the Deutsche Oper Berlin since the 2019/20 season, where he sings roles such as Alfredo in La traviata, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Rodolfo in La Bohème, Alfredo in La Traviata, and Ferrando in Così fan tutte. Previously, he was a member of the Irkutsk Musical Theatre, where he appeared in various roles in operetta and musical productions. He then debuted at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden as Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, at the Opéra de Lyon as Fisherman in The Nightingale, and at the Staatstheater Cottbus as Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore. Other venues where he has already performed include Teatro Umberto Giordano in Foggia, Italy, Teatro Verdi in Padua, and stages in Bern, Basel, Zurich, and Sigriswil in collaboration with the festival «Opern Werkstatt». Andrei Danilov is making his debut at the Graz Opera and can be seen at the Opera Wrocławska in the title role of Gounod's Faust. His repertoire also includes Lenski in Eugene Onegin and Hans in The Bartered Bride. Additionally, he participated in the concert performance of Smetana's The Bartered Bride for the Novaya Opera Theatre in Moscow and interpreted the role of Almeric in Tchaikovsky's Iolanta at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia. He appears in Messa da Requiem (staging and choreography by Christian Spuck) together with the Staatsballett Berlin.
