The Staatsballett Berlin was founded in 2004 by a merger of the former ballet ensembles of the three Berlin opera houses of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Komische Oper Berlin and the Staatsoper Unter den Linden and completes 105 performances annually at the three houses. Under the Stiftung Oper in Berlin, the Staatsballett Berlin is Germany's largest ballet company with 91 dancers from over 30 nations.

THE TASKS INCLUDE IN PARTICULAR
+ Conception and realization of innovative, age-appropriate, production- and theme-related dance-pedagogical mediation formats for diverse groups of people, e.g.
--- school class specific offers
--- dance and ballet lessons/creative children's dance as well as
--- improvisational mediation offers for children of kindergarten age up to professional dancers,
--- dance pedagogical work with physically and/or cognitively impaired persons; dance with refugees
--- vacation offers
--- formats for families
--- preparation and follow-up of performances

+ Continuous management and implementation of tdance pedagogical offers in schools.
+ including conceptual and choreographic work with students
+ conception and realization of representative events
+ final presentations; flash mobs
+ opening festivities and much more.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM YOU
+ enthusiasm for teaching dance, theater and culture to children, young people and adults
+ successfully completed dance training (preferably in classical ballet)
+ knowledge of other forms/styles of dance expression
+ work experience as a professional stage dancer and knowledge of theater operations
+ Successfully completed additional training in pedagogy, e.g. dance pedagogy or theater pedagogy
+ diversity skills
+ high level of social competence, appreciative interaction with people of all ages
+ strong organizational skills, creativity, ability to work in a team, independent work, reliability,
+ sociability, open communication and sense of responsibility
+ a high degree of resilience and personal flexibility
+ confident handling of common EDP programs
+ very good language skills in German and English
+ identification with the varied daily theater routine
