On Sundays in late summer, the opera houses open their doors to celebrate the new season together with all employees from the choir and orchestra, stage, costume and make-up and with curious visitors of all ages. Whether opera and ballet connoisseur or newcomer, the programme of the popular opening celebrations offers everyone exciting looks behind the scenes, information about premieres and rehearsals, lots of music to listen to or make yourself - and of course ballet! The dancers of the Staatsballett meet at the festivals of Staatsoper and Deutsche Oper on the big stage for classes, in order to let the audience participate in their daily routine. Admission is free.
