Transition and changing worldviews

The opening event for the second season on 13 September invites the audience to discuss the topic »Transition and changing worldviews - social values and institutions in transition?«. The aim is to shed light on the effects of the changing value system in very concrete terms in the production of theatre and literature as well as in museum planning. How do we deal with cultural heritage between the poles of cancel culture and freedom of art? What has happened in the institutions, or what has not?

Guests: Jessica Bradley (Sensitivity Reader), Elisa Carrillo Cabrera (Principal Dancer, Staatsballett Berlin), Wiebke Horn (Costume Department Director, Deutsche Oper Berlin), Wiebke Hüster (Journalist, FAZ), Franziska Sauerbrey (Head of Strategy, Coordination, International Affairs, Humboldt Forum Berlin), Moderation: Claudia Henne (Dance Journalist).

Supporters, followers, fans and the ensemble - who wants what from whom?

From individual fans who would do anything for "their" dancer, to followers who want to look behind the scenes online, to the supporter who seek personal encounters and offer more than just idealistic support: What challenges and opportunities arise in dealing with the different groups in the environment of a cultural institution? Are there overlapping or contradictory needs? How do the digital and personal spheres function?

On the podium: Florian Eckart (Manager Fan Relations, Eisbären Berlin), Jens-Rainer Jänig (Beiratsmitglied des DAKU Dachverband für Kulturfördervereine in Deutschland e. V. und Vorstandsvorsitzender des Fördervereins der Berlinischen Galerie), Ingo Sawilla (Head of Communication, Berliner Ensemble and online communication advisor for Bayreuther Festspiele and others), Daniil Simkin (Principal Dancer, Staatsballett Berlin), Dr. Christiane Theobald (Acting Artistic Director, Staatsballett Berlin and Stellvertretende Vorsitzende, Freunde und Förderer des Staatsballetts Berlin e.V.), moderated by Claudia Henne (dance journalist).
