Last year, the dance pedagogues of Tanz ist KLASSE! went to four Berlin-based schools to talk about »Grenzen«, which translates to »limits« but also implies »borders«, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Fall of the Wall.

The participating children not only choreographed their own dances but also engaged in the medium of film. The outcome is the 60-minute dance film DistANCE documenting the children's dances and in doing so becoming a form of dance itself.
