Regular advance ticket sales begin on 17 May 2014. For members of “Freunde und Förderer of Staatsballett Berlin”, holders of the TanzTicket or the StaatsopernCard, and subscribers of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, advance ticket sales start on 03 May 2014.


For family performances, children and young visitors under the age of 18 pay 10 EUR for tickets in all price groups. Please refer to the calendar for the dates of family performances. Family performances are marked with *. This offer is limited. To prepare for their visit to the performance, children, young visitors, and their parents are welcome to join a special workshop. With the TanzTicket, you can see all the performances of the Staatsballett Berlin at the Staatsoper im Schiller Theater, at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, at the Komische Oper Berlin, and at the Tempodrom Berlin at a 20% price reduction over a twelve-month period. This also applies to opening nights! TanzTicket holders are eligible for the early advance ticket sales and do not have to pay the 2 EUR service fee when ordering tickets online. The TanzTicket costs 30 EUR and only 15 EUR for those who qualify for special price reductions (see below). Buy your TanzTicket at the box offices of the Staatsoper im Schiller Theater and of the Deutsche Oper Berlin.


With the ClassicCard, young people up to the age of 30 receive tickets for the best availabe seats for performances of the Staatsballett Berlin, the Komische Oper Berlin, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Staatsoper im Schiller Theater, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Rundfunk Orchester und Chöre GmbH at the evening box office for 8 EUR for concerts or 10 EUR for opera and ballet performances. The ClassicCard is valid for one year, costs 15 EUR and can be purchased online at www.staatsballett-berlin.de or at the opera box offices.


The tanzcard guarantees significant discounts on the normal entry price for performances at over 20 dance venues in Berlin. For performances of the Staatsballett Berlin, you will get a reduction of 20% at the evening box office. Costing 15 EUR per year, the tanzcard is valid for one year. You will find more information, including an order form, at www.tanzraumberlin.de


On showing valid qualifying and personal identification in person, children and young visitors under the age of 18, school children and college or university students as well as professional trainees up to the age of 30, volunteers of the gap year and of the federal volunteer service, and unemployed persons receive a reduction of 50% on the price groups III and IV at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and IV, V, VI and VII at the Komische Oper Berlin as well as on certain price groups at the Staatsoper im Schiller Theater, but here with limited availability and only four weeks in advance. As for the Staatsoper im Schiller Theater, the time limit does not apply to children and young visitors under the age of 18. Upon showing a valid identification (marked “B”), handicapped persons may obtain a free ticket for an accompanying person. The discount rules of the Deutsche Oper Berlin apply for the guest performances at the Tempodrom Berlin from 17 October to 19 October 2015.


If available, Last Minute Tickets may be purchased by those qualified for price reductions at a set price of 15 EUR approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain up. Holders of the “berlinpass” pay only 3 EUR for Last Minute Tickets; however, opening nights, guest performances, and special events are excluded from this offer.


Acquired tickets may not be returned. The general terms and conditions of the Stiftung Oper in Berlin, which are to be found under www. staatsballett-berlin.de and hanging beside the box offices, apply. Those with loyalty cards or discounted tickets are asked to show their loyalty card or qualifying identification as well as personal identification at the box office and at the entrance to the theater. Discounts cannot be combined.
