A ballet evening full of contrasts: While Benjamin Millepied`s “Daphnis et Chloé” is a brilliant spectacle of music, movement and color, Jean-Christophe Maillot’s sacred-mystical “Altro Canto”, bathed in the light of more than a hundred candles, offers an opportunity for reflection and introspection. Meanwhile, the set and costume designs by Daniel Buren, Rolf Sachs, and Karl Lagerfeld promise additional supreme aesthetic delights.
